Personal Statement:
The admissions committee requires all applicants to submit a Statement of Purpose. You should upload your Statement of Purpose as a PDF with your online application. Be sure to put your name on your Statement of Purpose. Statements can be submitted only once. Your statement should be sincere, direct, and most of all, written by you. The admissions committee wants to know about your academic goals, research interests, and abilities. You should explain why you want to be in the program as well as why you want to be in the specific tracks you selected. You may also use your statement to explain any anomalies in your academic record. There is no word limit, but most statements are between 1-3 pages in length.
Recommendation Letter:
We require three (3) letters of recommendation. Recommendations should be from academic and/or professional references who can who attest to your abilities, accomplishments, strengths, knowledge, and experience. If you have experience as a teaching assistant, you may want to consider asking your teaching supervisor to write a recommendation on your behalf.
