Transcript:
All applicants must have two official copies of all your transcripts sent to the admissions office.
Personal Statement:
All applicants must prepare a statement of intellectual purpose. There is no requirement as to length or content, but two pages single-spaced is a rough guideline. The statement should tell us something about your background, why you wish to pursue a graduate degree in Women’s Studies, and what topics you wish to explore. Let us know about your research interests, your long term career plans, and how these correspond to the research specializations of our Center. Please be as precise as possible. To admit you to the degree program, we need to be sure that you would find among our faculty members a good match to supervise your work toward the MA in Women’s Studies.
Recommendation Letter:
Solicit three letters of recommendation (print and mail) and have them mailed to Women’s Studies. You may also send them to the UF Graduate Office of Admission electronically.
Writing Sample:
Submit a writing sample of up to 25 pages
