The Institut für Verkehrsplanung und Transportsysteme of ETH Zürich is searching for the Chair of Transport Planning a Research Officer (PhD student) in the area of Measurement and Modelling of Travel Behaviour.
The chair develops new methods for the measurement and modelling of travel and consumption behaviour. The focus will be on complex methods of surveying and tracking human behavour and the matching innovative econometric modelling approaches. Urban Air Mobility and long duration surveys will be two initial themes.
背景偏好：The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities, ability to work in a team, and has a relevant Master-level degree in a relevant subject (economics/econometrics, spatial/transport planning, mathematics, statistics, geography, civil engineering etc.). Basic knowledge of transport planning and statistics is an advantage. Good written and spoken English is required. This 100% post is limited to six years. A disseration is possible and encouraged as part of this post.
