You are required to submit official transcripts from all previous colleges and universities attended. Students can apply and be recommended for admittance using unofficial transcripts as long as they have the student's name and the University. They are required to give official transcripts to the Graduate College within 30 days after beginning the program.

Personal Statement:
Statement of purpose, 2 page double-spaced maximum. Your statement should include:Summarize previous work/academic experience that motivated you to apply for a GIS graduate program;Elaborate on a topic you would like to explore using spatial technologies;One paragraph describing your technical background (computer proficiency is a prerequisite)
Recommendation Letter:
2 letters of reference. Your letters of reference should include:how long and in what capacity they have known you;Your ability to work independently;Your suitability for graduate school;Your potential to succeed in graduate school and to make a contribution to your specific profession
