Curriculum Vitae:
Dr. Xiaolei Wang received his B.S., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from Dalian University of Technology, Tianjin University, and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), respectively. Before joining Concordia University as a tenure-track assistant professor, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo. He recently moved to CME department at UoA, continuing his research on nanoarchitectural/porous materials’ design, synthesis towards the applications of clean energy technologies, including lithium-ion (and other alkaline ions) batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries, supercapacitors, electrocatalytic O2 reactions, CO2/N2 reduction, and water splitting. His research focuses on the correlation of the electrochemical/electrocatalytic behaviors with the microstructures of the materials.
背景偏好:a. The candidates must hold or expected to hold in prior to join the group, a M.Sc. degree for Ph.D. position or a B.S. degree for M.Sc. position, from an accredited college or university. Strong education background or extensive research experience in disciplines of chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, electrochemistry and/or polymers are preferred;
b. The candidates must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4/4.0 (or 85/100).
c. Applicants with English as an additional language must have at least one of the following English language test results:
①TOEFL iBT: 92 and above (with 20 in each section);
②IELTS: 7.0 and above (with 6.0 on each band).
